أوضح المقال ملامح جديدة للدبلوماسية الصينية ودورها في التوافق السعودي الإيراني. وبين أنه مع تزامن إعادة انتخاب الرئيس الصيني لولاية ثالثة كرئيس للبلاد جاء الاتفاق السعودي الإيراني على عودة العلاقات بينهما وذلك في ظل مفاوضات جرت في الصين بين (10،6 مارس 2023) موضحا قلق أمريكا من نفوذ الصين في الشرق الأوسط مؤكداً أن بكين تعمل على هذا بالفعل. وأشار إلى اعتبار كبير الدبلوماسيين الصينيين وانغ يي أن الاتفاق بمثابة نصر للحور ونصر للسلام. وأوضح إعلان بكين استعدادها للتوسط مع إيران مشيراً إلى أن ما قامت به الصين استهداف رسالة للقوى العظمى ومن بينها الولايات المتحدة. واختتم المقال بالإشارة إلى أنها تعمل على زيادة نفوذها في الشرق الأوسط بشكل كبير ليس فقط من خلال التجارة والاقتصاد ولكن بكونها فاعلة في المجريات السياسية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2023
