Overview
تناولت الدراسة الوظيفية السكنية في مدينة الزبير وهدفت إلى التعرف على الخصائص المعمارية والاجتماعية للوظيفة السكنية، فهي من المعايير التي تستخدم لتقييم الواقع ومعرفة المشكلات والسلبيات التي تواجه الوظيفة السكنية في المدينة، وهذه المعايير هي (نوع المسكن، ملكية السكن، مساحة الوحدة السكنية مع الحديقة، مساحة وحدة البناء فقط، طبيعة مواد البناء، عدد طوابق الوحدة السكنية)، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن النمو السكاني في المدينة مرتفع وهذا يوضح مدى توسع الوظيفية السكنية بشكل لا يتلائم مع نمو الوحدات السكنية.
