هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تصميم وبناء مقياس الخيال لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية، والتأكد من الخصائص السيكومترية الخاصة به، والتحقق من فاعلية عبارات ودلالات صدقه وثباته، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (۳۰۰) تلميذ وتلميذة موزعين على الصفوف الدراسية من الصف الخامس للصف السادس الابتدائي، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن مقياس الخيال لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية بمصر والذي تم إعداده في الدراسة الحالية يتمتع بدرجة عالية من الصدق والثبات، وتوافر الشروط السيكومترية وصلاحيته للاستخدام.
