Overview
يتناول البحث تحليلا سيميائيا للحكاية الشعبية محذوق وعلي، والذي يسعى إلى تفكيك النص، واستخراج الوظائف والمسارات والبرامج السردية والأدوار للوصول إلى بنيته العميقة. أفضت بنا الدراسة إلى أن حكاية محذوق وعلي تختلف عن باقي النصوص التي تسري وفق مسار خطي، تبدأ بافتقار وتنتهي بالقضاء على الافتقار، إذ تعددت فيها البرامج السردية، واختلفت البني العاملية، إنها حكاية مركبة تتضمن داخلها مجموعة من الحكايات الجزئية المنفصلة عن بعضها لكن المتداخلة في الحكاية، يمكن تحليل كل حكاية على حدي لكن لا يمكن الفصل بينها، فهي البنى التي يكون حكاية محذوق وعلي.
