من خلال دراسة حالة ترامواي الجزائر العاصمة (الجزائر)، سعت هاته الورقة البحثية إلى تحليل ظاهرة تهرب الركاب من دفع ثمن تذاكر الركوب بغية الحفاظ على هذا المرفق العام وتعزيز المصلحة العامة إلى جانب البيانات والإحصائيات الرسمية المتاحة، استخدمت هاته الورقة البحثية منهجية المسح الميداني بهدف قياس وتيرة تهرب الركاب من دفع ثمن تذاكر الركوب والوقوف على أسباب ودوافع هذا السلوك، وذلك للخروج بجملة من الحلول والتوصيات التي من شأنها وضع حد لهاته الظاهرة وتحسين الخدمة العمومية للنقل الحضري الجماعي.
