امتازت ولاية برج بوعريريج الأثرية بكونها واحدة من أهم شواهد التراث الحضاري بالشرق الجزائري نتيجة لأهمية مخلفاتها، رغم هذه الأهمية إلا أن الولاية عانت التهميش من حيث البحوث التاريخية المبرزة لتاريخها وكذا لاتزال أثارها تعاني الإهمال الكبير وعليه فإن مما يلي من عملنا سوف يكون بمثابة إبراز للجانب التاريخي لولاية برج بوعريريج الذي يزيح الغموض الذي اكتنفها ونماذج من المساجد والتحصينات الدفاعية
