Overview
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على واحدة من الاتفاقيات التي عقدها المسلمون مع أعدائهم خلال حركات الفتح الإسلامي لمصر وشمال إفريقيا، ولكنها تختلف عن جميع اتفاقيات ومعاهدات الصلح الأخرى. والبقط هي الضريبة التي كانت تدفعها النوبة المسيحية للحكام المسلمين في مصر، وكان عبد الله بن سعد بن أبي سرح هو الذي فرضها على أهل النوبة بعد أن غزا بلادهم وحاصر عاصمتهم مدينة دنقلة في خلافة عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه. وتضمنت الدراسة التعريف بالبقط، والبلاد التي فرضت عليها، وحملات المسلمين إلى بلاد النوبة، بهدف نشر الإسلام وفتح تلك البلاد، وما اشتمل عليه اتفاق البقط، كما أوضحت موقف أهل النوبة من هذه الاتفاقية حتى العصر الفاطمي.
