Overview
This research investigates the difficulties encountered by the Iraqi learners in learning FLE. It also deals with improving learners' motivations to overcome these problems. The significance of this study lies in the fact that the problems that learners face in teaching a foreign language can be overcome by encouraging students to participate in the language activities to motivate them.
