Overview
يتعرض البحث إلى التحدي الأكبر الذي واجه إيران في حرب الخليج الثالثة التي تعرض لها العراق ۲۰۰۳، وكيف واجهت إيران هذا التهديد وموقفها منه، بعد أن أكدت الإدارات الأمريكية حينها أن هدفها بعد إسقاط النظام العراقي هو إسقاط النظام في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، ويبين البحث مدى قدرة إيران واستجابتها لهذا التحدي من خلال سياستها إلى اتبعتها وتطوير موقفها بما يخدم مصالح أمنها القومي ونجحت في ذلك إلى حد كبير.
