تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على واحدة من تقنيات التحول الرقمي وهي إحدى التقنيات الحديثة والتي تعتبر إحدى ركائز الثورة الصناعية الرابعة جنبا إلى جنب مع الذكاء الاصطناعي وهي تكنولوجيا سلاسل الكتل Blockchain، وفي إطار الجهود الحكومية المبذولة في الفترة الأخيرة في القطاعات المختلفة لتنفيذ عملية التحول الرقمي لما ينتج عنه من تخفيض في التكاليف وسرعة في الأداء مما يوفر الوقت والجهد المبذول للقيام بالعمليات المختلفة، نسعي في هذا البحث إلى التعرف على تقنية سلاسل الكتل Blockchain وذلك من خلال التعريف بها وبأنواع شبكات سلاسل الكتل المختلفة وكيفية عملها وتطبيقاتها التي تقوم الحكومات والشركات الخاصة في دول العالم المختلفة بتنفيذها.
