تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى التعريف بالتحليل الإحصائي الذي هو الأسلوب العلمي المعتمد في الدراسات الاجتماعية بمختلف تخصصاتها. نحاول من خلالها توضيح المراحل الأساسية المعتمدة في التحليل الإحصائي بدءا بعملية جمع البيانات، تحليلها وعرضها على شكل جداول، كيفية قراءتها وطريقة تمثيلها واختبار الفروض الإحصائية وكذلك شروط وطرق اختيار العينة، في الأخير التوصل إلى نتائج دقيقة وصحيحة ومنه دراسة احترافية خالية من الأخطاء.
