Overview
يعنى هذا البحث بدراسة ألفاظ الأمراض في ثلاثية (نجيب محفوظ) دراسة دلالية، باتباع المنهج الوصفي؛ حيث يتم تناول هذه الألفاظ، ومعرفة معناها اللغوي في المعاجم المختلفة، وأصل وضعها في اللغة؛ من حيث كونها عربية كانت أم أعجمية دخلت اللغة العربية عن طريق التعريب أو نحوه، ومعرفة دلالة هذه الألفاظ في السياقات المختلفة التي وردت بها، وهل أصابها تطور دلالي وما هي وسيلته؟ ومعرفة ما إذا كانت هناك علاقات مختلفة بين هذه الألفاظ أم لا؟ ومن خلال هذه الدراسة يمكن الوقوف على أهم السمات العامة التي تميز بها المجتمع المصري في هذه الفترة؛ ذلك أن هناك علاقة وثيقة بين اللغة والمجتمع؛ إذ تعد اللغة مرآة المجتمع التي يتحدث بها أفراده، بل وتعد الوسيلة التي يمكن من خلالها الوقوف على أهم ملامح ذلك المجتمع.
