استهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى معالم التربية الإنسانية عند محمد أركون. وقد تم تفضيل استخدام مصطلح أنسنة التربية للدلالة على خصوصية الطرح الأركوني بشأن الأنسنة، في حين اعتبر البحث أن مصطلح التربية الإنسانية مصطلح عام يصف العملية التربوية على وجه العموم فالتربية تنشأ دائما من أجل الإنسان، وإلى الإنسان. وقد اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتوصل إلى تحديد سمات التربية الإنسانية عند أركون، ومتطلبات تحقيقها، ومناهجها ووسائلها.
