مشكلة الدراسة: تكمن مشكلة الدراسة في أنه لم تتمكن الباحثة من الحصول على مقياس للقلق الاجتماعي مستندا إلى المحكات التشخيصية للدليل التشخيصي والإحصائي للاضطرابات النفسية الخامس، وذلك لقياس القلق الاجتماعي الناتج عن الصدفية. أهمية الدراسة تتمثل في: أ- الأهمية النظرية: تزويد مكتبة الصحة النفسية بمقياس القلق الاجتماعي لمرضى الصدفية. ب- الأهمية التطبيقية: إعداد مقياس القلق الاجتماعي لمرضى الصدفية يصلح لأغراض التشخيص والبحث العلمي.
