هدف البحث إلى دراسة التأثير المباشر لهجرة اليد الهندية العاملة للخارج التي بدأت في عام 1947 الذي شهد أول موجات الهجرة على التحويلات المالية التي تتم من خلال مجموعة من نظم التوظيف المختلفة بهدف تعظيم عائدها، وتم التوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها، التأثير المباشر للتحويلات على سد الفجوة المالية باعتبارها مصدرا مهما للنقد الأجنبي. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة الاهتمام بالعامل المهاجر وتهيئة بيئة العمل المناسبة للمهاجرين العائدين من الخارج.
