إن معرفة أحكام القرآن الكريم بقصد الوقوف على حكمة هذا التنزيل وأحكامه، كان اهتمام علماء التفسير، وكان من بين أولئك العلماء النيسابوري، الذي عرف بغزارة علمه وتنوع مؤلفاته وخاصة في علم التفسير، ومما يبين لنا نبوغه فيه، كتابه: (غرائب القرآن ورغائب الفرقان) الذي تم اختيار سورة البقرة منه في هذا البحث، كدراسة نظرية تطبيقية لبعض آيات الأحكام.
