Overview
تسلط الدراسة الضوء على المواطنة في المجتمعات البشرية خلال الحقب التاريخية المختلفة والنمط السائد في كل مجتمع من المجتمعات والتطورات التي مر منها مفهوم المواطنة إلى أن سادت الديمقراطية أوروبا وانتشرت في العالم. كما تتناول الدراسة بإسهاب مفهومي المواطنة والديمقراطية وانتشار الاهتمام بالتربية على المواطنة في المجتمعات الحديثة. كذلك تطرح الدراسة بالوصف والتحليل العلاقة المهمة بين ازدهار الفكر وتطور مفهوم المواطنة في المجتمعات المتقدمة وتربط بين أهمية ازدهار الفكر المعاصر المرتبط بالمواطنة والديمقراطية والتنمية في المجتمعات العربية وتطور حضور المواطنة في العمل الوطني العربي.
