Overview
يتناول هذا البحث مسألة الجذور التاريخية للنزاع الحدودي العراقي الكويتي، بدءا من مرحلة السيطرة العثمانية في الخليج العربي، وما شهدته من محاولات بريطانية لترسيم الحدود الكويتية، تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء عليها. كما يسعى هذا البحث إلى تبيان مسار تطور النزاع الحدودي بين العراق والكويت ما بعد الحرب العالمية الأولى وحتى مطلع السبعينات، مع التركيز على محاولات العراق المتكررة لضم الكويت إلى كنفه خلال تلك الحقبة، وما التفها من خروقات عسكرية وضغوطات دبلوماسية تعمد الدراسة إلى الغوص في حيثياتها.
