يتناول هذا البحث دراسة حول لاهوت وعقيدة الإله أمون في طيبة في العصر البطلمي من خلال نقوش الكرنك بمعبد خونسو وعلى الأبواب الضخمة المحيطة بالمجمع المقدس للمعابد. وقد قدمت لنا تلك النقوش تفسيرا جديدا عن عقيدة الشمس في ذلك العصر، فنجد المزيد من التطورات اللاهوتية التي منحت لأمون المكانة العظمى بين كل آلهة مصر.
