تتطلب مساعدة ضحايا الجريمة وتلبية احتياجاتهم تحقيق التعاون بين العديد من المؤسسات في الدولة -العامة والخاصة -حيث تندرج هذه الاحتياجات في مجالات متنوعة، مثل تقديم المساعدات القانونية، والمادية، والصحية، وتوفير المأوى في بعض الجرائم، وغيرها من المساعدات التي تهدف إلى حماية حقوق الضحايا. وفي هذا الإطار، تعد الجمعيات الأهلية المعنية بضحايا الجريمة، شريكا مهما في جهود مكافحة الجريمة، من خلال المساهمة في تلبية بعض احتياجاتهم، ولهذا تسعى هذه الورقة إلى التعرف على الإسهامات التي يمكن أن تقدمها الجمعيات الأهلية في مساعدة ضحايا الجريمة، وضوابط عملها في هذا المجال.
