يهدف البحث إلى دراسة أبنية الجذر \"حضر\" في القرآن الكريم؛ دراسة صرفية دلالية، لبيان دلالة الجذر في سياقه القرآني. وعدد أبنية هذا الجذر تسعة أبنية؛ هي: \"حَضَرَ\"، \"يَحْضُرُ\"، \"أَحْضَرَ\"، \"أُحْضِرَ\"، \"نُحْضِر\"، \"حَاضِر\"، \"حَاضِرَة\"، \"مُحْصَر\"، \"مُحْتَصَر \". جاءت الدراسة في مقدمة وتمهيد وتسعة مطالب المطلب الأول: بنية \"حَضَرَ\"، والثاني: بنية \"َحْضُرُ\"، والثالث: بنية \" أُحْضِرَ\"، والرابع: بنية \" أُحْضِرَ\"، والخامس: بنية \"نُحْضِر\"، والسادس: بنية \"حَاضِر\"، والسابع: بنية \"حَاضِرَة\"، والثامن: بنية \" مُحْصَر\"، والتاسع: بنية \"مُحْتَصَر\" ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن الأبنية الصرفية للجذر \"حضر\" كلها تدور حول معنى المشاهدة المسبوقة بمجيء. وأوصى البحث بعمل دراسة حول التباين الدلالي للألفاظ الدالة على المجيء في القرآن الكريم.
