Overview
تعد اللولاردية حركة دينية واجتماعية ظهرت في إنجلترا خلال القرن الرابع عشر والخامس عشر، واشتهر أتباعها بمعارضتهم للكنيسة والتشدد في التعاليم الدينية والاجتماعية، وفي عام ١٤١٤ م، حدث تمرد السير جون أولد كاسل، وهو يعد واحد من أهم أحداث اللولاردية في إنجلترا. كان سير جون أولد كاسل من أتباع اللولاردية وكان يعتبر زعيما للحركة. قاد تمردا مسلحا ضد السلطة الحاكمة، ورجال الدين في إنجلترا، غير أن هذا التمرد باء بالفشل، ولم يحقق أهدافه، لكنه أسهم في تعزيز الوعي بالمشاكل الاجتماعية والدينية في المجتمع الإنجليزي وساهم في تأسيس النقاشات حول الإصلاح الديني والاجتماعي في السنوات اللاحقة.
