Overview
قامت مملكة حمير على ثلاث مراحل أولهما هي المرحلة التي لقب ملوكها بلقب ملوك \"سبأ وذي ريدان\"، ثم تأتي المرحلة الثانية التي لقب بها أهلها بملوك \"سبأ وذي ريدان وحضرموت\" وكان آخرها هم أصحاب اللقب الطويل \"سبأ وذي ريدان وحضرموت ويمنت طودا وتهمت\" وكانت حريه الديانة في هذه المراحل هي السائدة بين شعبها حتي لو أمنوا بدين مخالف عن حاكمهم، ولم يحدث أي صراع ديني بين الديانات التي عرفت هناك سواء \"اليهودية أو النصرانية أو الوثنية\" إلا في عهد \"يوسف أسار\" آخر ملوك المرحلة الثالثة، وقد كانت اليهودية هي ديانته التي تعصب من أجلها وخاصه ضد النصرانية، فكان هذا التعصب هو السبب في نهاية أهم دوله في الجزيرة العربية في تلك الفترة.
