Overview
تمخض التاريخ الإغريقي القديم بعدد من الجوانب ومنها الجانب السياسي الذي جاءت فيه عقوبة النفي للتخلص من المنافسين للسلطة، منهم من كان سياسيا، ومنهم من كان مفكرا، أو عالما كان يسبب القلاقل للسلطة الحاكمة، فجاءت عقوبة النفي للتخفيف عن كاهل الحكومة، وكان للبعض منهم دورا سياسيا ما بعد النفي أو دورا علميا فعالا وهو في منفاه أو بعد عودته من النفي.
