Overview
Nous nous proposons dans cet article, organisé en deux parties, de partager quelques-unes de nos réflexions sur la formation des psychologues cliniciens en Algérie. Notre position d'enseignants universitaires et de praticiens nous donne l'avantage de mieux cerner certains aspects de cette formation dans son parcours universitaire et post-universitaire. Dans la première partie, nous comparons quelques critères et normes universitaires algériens d'accès au titre de psychologue clinicien avec ceux d'autres pays maghrébins et occidentaux. Dans la deuxième partie, nous évoquons, à la lumière de situations issues de notre pratique clinique, quelques obstacles qui peuvent empêcher le psychologue de consolider sa formation et les dangers inhérents au manque de formation. Enfin, nous proposons quelques pistes susceptibles de faire progresser la qualité de formation des psychologues cliniciens.
