Overview
يعالج هذا البحث مفهوم العنف وأشكاله واتجاهاته كما يتطرق إلى طبيعة العنف وأصله الأنثروبولوجي، وكذلك كيف يؤثر العنف الرمزي الأسري على المؤسسات الاجتماعية. ذلك أن العنف اللفظي يختلف مدلوله باختلاف التركيبة الأسرية للأفراد المعنفين، لأن ما تعتبره أسرة ما عنفا لفظيا ورمزيا قد لا تعتبره الأخرى ألفاظ معنفة وقد يرجع السبب إلى اختلاف في الأساليب المتبعة في التنشئة الأسرية لأولئك الأفراد والدي بدوره يعكس تباين في درجة التكيف أو رفض العنف اللفظي والرمزي الممارس عليهم من قبل الحاملين لأساليب تنشئوية معنفة، لدلك يعتبر العنف اللفظي والرمزي الأسري موضوع شديد الخطورة وخاصة عندما يتعلق الأمر بالعنف الممارس داخل المنزل الذي هو وسط مغلق ومخفي عن الأنظار
