Overview
The Algerian economy is characterized by being rentier, non-diverse and earning its wealth from the high value of fossil extracts, to move it's economic and treatment of its social and economic problems. To move his economic machine and treat their social and economic problems. It has few corrective tools and mechanisms; therefore, its economy is an all forms of crisis-prone. This study aims to test the capacity of first generation models on the interpretation of financial and economic crises in Algeria by using standard tools, the Relying on style of KRUGMAN (1979), FLOOD and GARBER (1984). The results supported that these models are able to explain both 2009 and 2014 crisis.
