يهدف هذا البحث على تشخيص المشاكل والأخطاء التي تقع للباحث فيما لو استدل على المعلومات التي هي مما وراء الحس والطبيعة، وقد قسم طرق الاستدلال الصحيحة والمعتمدة عند العلماء الأوائل من أهل النظر والاستدلال، وهذا الطرق قد اعتمدت على مقدمات هي التي تسمى بالمادة البحثية، ومن بعد ذلك الوقوف على الأشكال التي بها يتعلم الباحث طرح ما هو الزائد والاعتماد على الأصل في النظر والاستدلال، وقد جاء على مبحثين وتحث كل مبحث مطالب تليق بأن تلائم أصل المبحث الذي انطلق الباحث فيه بحثه.
