Overview
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على قوانين خصوصية البيانات كونها تتنوع حسب الدول والمنظمات، ولكن في الغالب، تهدف جميعها إلى حماية خصوصية الأفراد، وتنظيم كيفية جمع واستخدام ومشاركة البيانات الشخصية، وبناء الثقة بين الأفراد والمنظمات التي تجمع بياناتهم. ويتم ذلك من خلال الموافقة والشفافية، بحيث يجب أن يكون لدى الأفراد القدرة على معرفة كيفية جمع بياناتهم الشخصية واستخدامها، ويجب أن يتم الحصول على موافقتهم قبل جمعها، وكذلك الحفاظ على الأمان عبر حماية البيانات الشخصية من الوصول غير المصرح به والاستخدام غير المشروع، وكذا الامتثال لقوانين حماية البيانات وعن التصرف بشكل مسؤول في معالجة البيانات الشخصية.
