Overview
يتناول هذا البحث بالدرس والتحليل صورة جرير الأخلاقية والسلوكية في شعر زميليه الفرزدق والأخطل. إذ كان تركيز الشاعرين على نزع الصفات الخلقية عن جرير وإبداله عنها بصفات أخرى تعبر بها العرب من مثل: اللؤم والجبن وضعة النسب وهوان الحسب.. فضلا عن صفات أخرى موغلة في التحقير والتسفيه. كل ذلك في محاولة منهما لسلب كل ما يملكه جرير من فضائل؛ ولكسر حالته النفسية، وجعله هزوة للمتلقين.
