تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة إشكالية التغير المناخي وأثره على الأمن الغذائي في إفريقيا، حيث يعتبر التغير المناخي خطرا على الأمن الغذائي في العالم بصفة عامة وفي أفريقيا على وجه الخصوص، وقد وجد أن تغير المناخ خاصة ظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري، الجفاف، والفيضانات... هي أزمات كبرى تهدد الأمن الغذائي، بحيث تؤثر على الإنتاج الزراعي والثروة الحيوانية وحتى المائية، مما يبرز ضرورة تبني خيارات التكيف وإجراءات التخفيف لمواجهة التغيرات المناخية في القطاعات التي ترتبط بالغذاء.
