Overview
يتناول البحث تسليط الضوء على هجمات النورمان (الفيكنج) على أراضي الإمبراطورية الكارولنجية وخصوصا المملكة الفرنسية في المدة من 843-851م، إذ ركز البحث على الحروب التي خاضها النورمان في فرنسا، وارتكابهم للعديد من المجازر وقيامهم بأعمال السلب والنهب وحصولهم على الغنائم الكثيرة من جراء عملياتهم العسكرية الخاطفة، كما سلط البحث الضوء على القواعد العسكرية التي أسسها النورومان في فرنسا في الأنهار والقصبات.
