إن التعامل المناهجي للقراءة الحداثية مع التراث يتناظر مع ذات الموقف من التراث، فمن اختار المؤامة رجع إلى التراث واستفاد منه وأضاف إليه، ومن صور العلاقة قطيعة إبستمولوجية فإنه استمال المناهج الألسنية وتوالف معها، وهذا الاتجاه هو الذي اختار الترتيب السيميائي للآيات، أما الأول فتنهج ذات المعطيات التاريخية السابقة.
