إضافة إلى حلقات التشغيل الخاصة التي تعاني منها العملات المستقرة الخوارزمية في عام ۲۰۲۲، تظهر العملات المستقرة أيضا تدفقات منهجية من الهروب إلى السلامة خلال فترات الضغط الواسع النطاق في سوق أصول التشفير. أي أن المستثمرين يميلون إلى الهروب من العملات المستقرة التي ينظر إليها على أنها أكثر خطورة إلى العملات المستقرة التي ينظر إليها على أنها أقل خطورة خلال مثل هذه الحلقات. تشبه هذه الديناميات بشكل ملحوظ تلك التي لوحظت في MMFs خلال فترات التوتر.
