يهدف البحث إلى الكشف عن سر إجابة الدعاء، والوسائل المعينة على تحقيقه، والأسباب المنافية لذلك، بدراسة الأحاديث الواردة في الباب، واستنباط المعاني والدلات منها، ويقع البحث في مقدمة، وثلاثة مباحث، وخاتمة، ويقوم على المنهج الاستقرائي، والاستنباطي. النتائج: أن اليقين في الدعاء وحسن الظن بالله، هو سر الإجابة. - أن استحضار النصوص الدالة على سعة فضل الله تعالى، وعظيم كرمه، وكثرة خزائنه، وتأمل أسمائه وصفاته سبحانه، هي أعظم الوسائل التي تعين على زيادة اليقين. - أن العوائق التي تحول دون الوصول لليقين، منها ما يكون من داخل النفس، ومنها أسباب خارجية.
