يسعى البحث لبيان أهمية علم الميراث في حفظ المال وتنميته وتداوله عن طريق تفتيت الثروة وعدم حصرها في أيدي قليلة من الناس، وذلك من خلال استجلاء المقاصد الشرعية للشيخين الطنطاوي والزحيلي في تفسيرهما الوسيط والموازنة بينهما من خلال نماذج تطبيقية لفروض الأبناء والآباء والزوج والزوجة، ومشروعية الوصية، والكلالة.
