يهدف هذا البحث دراسة كيفية الاستفادة من صياغة الزخارف النوبية كمدخل لتنمية التعبير الفني في التصوير المعاصر لذلك اتجهت الباحثة إلى الاستفادة من دراسة الزخارف النوبية لما تحمله تلك الزخارف من قيم يمكن توظيفها في استخلاص صياغات ومعالجات زخرفية مستحدثة في مجال التصوير. أن التعبير عن المشاعر يعتبر أحد الوظائف الأساسية للفن، وعلى مر العصور قام الفن بدور فعال في تجسيد الأحاسيس إلى قيم بصرية تشكيلية، يكون الفن فيها قادر على تناول أكثر المشاعر خصوصية في الإنسان كا القلق والخوف والأحلام لتحويلها إلى استعارات مرئية
