Overview
شغل الصراع على بلاد الشام مرحلة هامة من مراحل الصراع الفاطمي والقرمطي من أجل السيطرة عليها، وهنا بدأ نجم ظالم بن موهوب يلمع في سماء الأحداث التي شهدتها هذه المنطقة، حيث شغل دوراً مهماً في العلاقات والأحداث السياسية والعسكرية تارة إلى جانب القرامطة، وتارةً أخرى إلى جانب الفاطميين سعياً وراء مصالحه ومطامعه الشخصية. ومن الجدير ذكره أنه إذا كانت المصادر والمراجع التاريخية مقلة في ذكر المعلومات عن دوره السياسي والعسكري فإنها أيضاً أغفلت ذكر أي شيء يتعلق بأسرته أو دوره العلمي إن وجد.
