在中埃当代小说史上，恐怖悬念小说的创作越来越多。恐怖 和悬念是小说的两种类型，属于大众文学。中国和埃及恐怖悬 疑小说的来源多种多样，也受到中埃文化和历史背景的影响。 在当代文学史上，这两种类型开始受到西方文学风格和主题的 影响。两国是两个历史悠久的国家，这两种有着丰富的文化遗 产，其中民间传说和神话故事是不可忽视的一部分。我们可以 看到这两部小说《荒村公寓》与《召唤女传说》之间的具体相 似之处。我们还需要讨论这两部小说之间的一些差异，我们选 择运用美国学派来进行这两部小说的比较研究，因为它关注不 同文学作品之间的相似性和差异性。
