يعد التعليم من الجوانب الأساسية والمهمة الدالة على تطور ورقي المجتمع في أي بلد كان، تناولت بعض الدراسات الأكاديمية التعليم الحكومي في عموم العراق، وفي بعض مدنه لأهمية الموضوع كونه ركيزة مهمة تدل على مدى بناء اسس صحيحة لمجتمع متطور ومتحضر وواعي ينتج أجيال ذو قدرات عقلية عالية تسهم في تطور المجتمع وبنائه. وفي دراستنا حاولنا أن نضع صور تفصيلية للواقع التعليمي لمدينة النجف الاشرف خلال المدة.
