يهدف البحث الحالي قياس: - الاستنتاجات الاعتباطية لدى الموظفين. - التعرف على دلالة الفروق في الاستنتاجات الاعتباطية وفقا الجنس والحالة الاجتماعية. وأشارت نتائج البحث بعد بناء مقياس الاستنتاجات الاعتباطية اعتمادا على نظرية بيك (Beck) للعلاج المعرفي واستخدام الإحصاء المناسب إلى أن الموظفين العاملين في دائرة رعاية ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة لديهم استنتاجات اعتباطية بمستوى عالي، وتوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعا للجنس والحالة الاجتماعية لصالح الذكور والإناث العزاب، وخرج الباحثان بمجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات.
