Overview
أن هذا الباليه - أو العينة المنتقاة من الباليهات المختلفة - يعد نموذجا حيا على جدوى تطبيق نظريتي كل من بيرس وجريماس في النقد السيميوطيقي الحديث على عروض الباليه. في الحالة الأولى اعتماد على مضمون درامي لكل رقصة تشترك في عناصر عرض الباليه وتجتمع بالتعبير عن هذا المضمون. وفي الحالة الثانية اعتمد العرض بشكل مباشر على الحركة والموسيقى دون غيرهما من العناصر الأخرى مع تجريدها من المضمون الدرامي، فأصبح النقد بهذا المعنى متجها للتصميم الحركي المجرد، ويتطابق مع الجمل الموسيقية سرعة وميزانا وحركة جميعا. ومن ذلك كله تبين أن نوع العمل هو الذي يرشد المنهج النقدي بالمعنى الإبداعي للفظ منهج نقدي دون المعنى المدرسي.
