أثر دور النشر في أدب الأطفال وثقافة الأطفال أشارت بعض الدراسات إلى أن ظهور أدب الأطفال العربي قد تأخر إلى أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وقد تأثر كثيراً بما وصلنا من ثقافة ومؤلفات فرنسية وإنجليزية أو أوربية بشكل عام، ونتفق بان أدب الأطفال المكتوب في العالم العربي والإسلامي قد تأخر وقته؛ ولكن الإسلام اهتم بأدب الطفل وتربيته.
