يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة جمالية الصورة في ديوان الإمام الشافعي، بوصفها واحدة من أبرز الأدوات التي استخدمها الشاعر في بناء قصائده، لإثراء تجربته الشعرية، وخلق أجواء نفسية تؤثر في وجدان المتلقي، كما أنها تمثل جانبا مهما من جوانب التشكيل الفني، عبر إيحاءات مختلفة، ومن هذا المنطلق يهتم المقال بتحليل أنماط الصورة وهي: الصورة الحسية والبصرية، والبلاغية والإيحائية... فماذا نعني بالصورة؟ وكيف أسهمت في إثراء شعر الإمام الشافعي؟ وماهي أهم المصادر التي استقى منها الشاعر صوره في ديوانه الشعري؟
