هدفت البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن مفهوم المعرفة التربوية وجوانب تجديدها في فكر حامد عمار. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي. وتوصل إلى عدة نتائج منها: تعددت إسهامات حامد عمار في إنتاج المعرفة التربوية وتجديدها، وأن تجديد المعرفة التربوية كان دافعه الرئيسي- عند حامد عمار - هو محاولة فهم المعرفة التربوية واستيعابها ونقدها في الجانب التربوي والتعليمي، وقد ظهر تجديد المعرفة التربوية عند حامد عمار في مجالات عدة: عقلية، واجتماعية، وحضارية.
