Overview
The research aims to identify the effect of a walking exercise program on the degree of depression and the level of social anxiety among the elderly. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research using a pre- and post-measurement method for one experimental group. Conclusions The proposed program using walking led to an improvement in the level of depression among the elderly. The proposed program using walking led to an improvement in the level of psychological stress among the elderly. Using walking has a better effect on the level of psychological depression and psychological tension among the elderly than frequenting social clubs only.
