أن الهدف من هذا البحث هو معرفة مدى قدرة نموذج Springate للتنبؤ بالفشل المالي في المصارف وإجراء دراسة مقارنة بين المصارف الإسلامية والغير الإسلامية ومعرفة أيهما أكثر تعرضا للفشل المالي ومعرفة أسباب التي تؤدي بالمصارف للفشل المالي في وقت مبكر وتم تطبيق نموذج Springate على (10) مصارف منها (5) مصارف إسلامية و (5) مصارف غير إسلامية بدراسة مقارنة بينهما وفي نهاية البحث تم التوصل لعدد من الاستنتاجات منها أن المصارف الإسلامية هي الأقل تعرضا للفشل المالي من المصارف الغير الإسلامية وفقا لنموذج Springate وتم تقديم عدد من المقترحات منها لجؤ المصارف الإسلامية والغير الإسلامية المبحوثة لتنويع خدماتها والدخول في المشاريع الاستثمارية المتنوعة لتعظيم الربح.
