تعنى هذه الدراسة بتسليط الضوء على جانب من البحث الدلالي الأصولي في عصوره المتأخرة من أجل الكشف عن طبيعة هذا التخصص في دراسة التراكيب والصيغ اللغوية، وهو ما يتجلى في الأبحاث المتعلقة بـ (الأمر صيغة ومادة) عند أصوليي مدرسة الشيخ النائيني، وذلك بوصفهم يمثلون مدرسة أصولية متطورة ولها إسهامات دلالية كثيرة تجلت بصورة واضحة في رؤيتهم لما في الأمر من مستويات دلالية متعددة، سواء تلك التي تتعلق بمادته التي عنوا بها خصوص اللفظ المتكون من الأحرف (أ، م، ر)، أي لفظ أمر أو التي تتعلق بصيغته التي أرادوا بها خصوص صيغة (افعل)، وكذلك ما يتعلق بهما من جهة دلالتهما على المرة الواحدة أو التكرار.
