حوى هذا البحث مسألة الاستثمار بشراء الأراضي الافتراضية في منصة نيكست إيرث (NextEarth)، حيث تضمن مفهوم الاستثمار والأراضي الافتراضية، وتعريفا بالمنصة، وطرق الانتفاع من تلك الأراضي، وحقيقتها، وعلاقتها بالعملات الرقمية، وحكم شرائها، واعتمدت على منهجي الاستقراء والتحليل، وتوصل إلى عدة نتائج، منها: 1. تعريف الأراضي الافتراضية بأنها قطعة أرض رقمية، يمكن امتلاكها على إحدى منصات الميتافيرس. 2. وبأن لها العديد من طرق الاستثمار، وهي: حفظ الأرض الافتراضية كأصل يزداد سعره مع الزمن، وتأجير الأرض الافتراضية المملوكة لشركات معلنة، والإعلان عن شركة خاصة لصاحب الأرض المملوكة عليها، وإنشاء المشاريع الافتراضية التوعوية أو الربحية عليها. 3. وبإباحة الاستثمار فيها بناء على إباحة التعامل بالعملات الرقمية عند إجازة الحاكم لها؛ لارتباطهما الوثيق.
