Overview
تشكل الأسماء أحد أهم المكونات التركيبية للغة، إذ تلعب دورا محوريا في تكوين جمل ذات معنى، وتعبر عن تصورات وأفكار يكونها الذهن انطلاقا من تعميم وتجريد الإدراكات الحسية التي تلقتها الحواس استجابة لمثيرات العالم الخارجي. فالأسماء علامات تكشف عن قدرات الذهن المعرفية في تجريد أشياء العالم وظواهره. غير أن الاسم نوعان: عام يعبر عن مضمون فكري ويحيل على موضوع، والآخر خاص يسمي موضوعا فرديا يحيل عليه ويعينه ويجعله حاضرا رغم غيابه، دون أن يتعدى إلى التعبير عن صفات أو خصائص وصفية.
